file named "perrin.exe" it will erase all the data in your hard drive and it will stay in

This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk, where vital information for its functioning are stored. This virus acts in the following manner: It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the titleA Virtual Card for You." As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened, the computer freezes so that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+del keys or the reset button are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permanently destroying the hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN. This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself. The Hoax mail indicated that Email with SULFNBK.EXE contains an incurable virus which destroys your computer. This email message is just a HOAX with or without SULFNBK.EXE attached to it. This file is clean and DOES NOT contain any malicious or damaging code. The text message of this HOAX states that some antivirus has detected infection in this file and this virus has payload to destroy your computer. It also indicates to look for this file in your computer and delete it. Actually SULFNBK.EXE is an valid Windows system file and deleting this file can cause unability to use some Windows features. Hence all are requested not to delete this file from Windows system folder. Although the file received via Email is clean there are possibility that during transmission from one system to other it can get infected by some valid virus.

We have just received a message from one of our contacts that our address book had been infected by a virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) not detected by Norton or McAfee antivirus systems. The virus stays quiet for 14 days before damaging the system. It is sent automatically by the Messenger and by the address book, whether or not you sent e-mails to your contacts. We checked, found and deleted it. Now it's your turn!

• Go to Start, Find or Search option
• In the files/folder option, write the name jdbgmgr.exe
• Be sure you search in your C: drive
• Click "find now"
• The virus has a little bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe DO NOT OPEN IT
• Right click and delete it (it will then go to the Recycle Bin) well, or empty the bin.
