Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Kailash Katkar is passionate about making the online world a safer place to be. His vision and thought leadership has made Quick Heal Antivirus a leading and preferred security solution for individuals, small and medium companies as well as large organizations worldwide.

He founded Quick Heal Technologies under the name of CAT Computer Services in 1993. An inspiration to many entrepreneurs, he built the empire through sheer hard work, keen business acumen and a solid moral foundation. As founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Quick Heal Technologies, Kailash leads the sales, marketing, customer services and technical support teams and also provides guidance to the wide network of dealers and distributors. Under his leadership, the company has achieved a market share of more than 30% in revenue in India.

He has been felicitated with multiple recognitions including the Rotary Recognition Award and the Entrepreneurs International Honors for his exemplary contribution and significant achievement in the field of IT.

Sanjay Katkar

Chief Technical Officer and Technical Director

As Chief Technical Officer and Technical Director of Quick Heal Technologies, Sanjay spearheads the new research and development at Quick Heal. He leads a team of software professionals involved in development of a wide anti-virus product range for different platforms. His thought leadership and passion for technology motivates the team to come up with innovative products that successfully meet the ever-increasing demands of the AntiVirus market.

Sanjay is also the co-founder at Quick Heal. His entrepreneurial streak coupled with hands on technical expertise enables him to understand market trends, customer feedbacks and aptly translate those into new product definition and development.

Sanjay is the recipient of the Entrepreneurs International Honours for his significant contribution as a first generation entrepreneur. He is one of the Directors of the Association of AntiVirus Asia Researchers (AVAR) and a reporting member of the Wild List Organization International, USA.

Sanjay holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune, India.

Sumir Chadha is a member of Board of Directors of Quick Heal Technologies as Independent Director representing Sequoia Capital. He is a Managing Director with Sequoia Capital India, which was formed by merging Sequoia Capital and WestBridge Capital Partners, which Sumir co-founded in 2000. Mr.Sumir has been investing in the Indian venture capital industry for the past thirteen years across several industries including financial services, offshore services and technology. Prior to co-founding WestBridge, Sumir was a member of the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs & Co. Prior to that, Sumir worked at McKinsey & Co. in New York and New Delhi.

Mr.Sumir received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University.

Mr.Sumir serves as co-chairman of the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA).

Mehul Savla is Co-Founder and Director of RippleWave Equity Pvt. Ltd., a well established boutique investment bank offering private equity, M&A and capital markets advisory services. Mehul has extensive experience in the financial markets and has successfully completed transactions across diverse sectors for leading Indian corporates, MNCs and the public sector. Prior to co- founding RippleWave, Mehul was Executive Director at J P Morgan India Pvt. Ltd. leading the Equity Capital Markets business in India. Before joining J P Morgan, he spent 8 years with ICICI Securities as part of the investment banking team completing several deals including IPOs, GDRs, ADRs, FCCBs, QIPs, rights, placements, buybacks, open offers and de-listings. Mehul started his career with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) where he was closely involved in developing the framework for equity derivatives in India.

Mehul is an MBA from University of Mumbai.
