Identifying Operating System Architecture
Click any of the
following listed operating systems that corresponds to the
operating system type installed on your system i.e. 32-bit or
64-bit operating system. It might be possible that certain
operating systems are available only in 32-bit or 64-bit
architectures, and if such is the case, it will be specified.

On Windows 2000 and earlier
Operating systems |
|
Microsoft Windows 2000 and its flavors, and operating systems released prior to Windows 2000 are only available in 32-bit architecture. |

On Windows XP
and Windows 2003 Server Operating Systems |

Got to Start -> Control Panel. The Control Panel window opens.

Double-click System icon. The System Properties window opens.

In the General tab under System, if
x64 is mentioned before Edition, then your operating system is a 64-bit operating system else it is a 32-bit operating system.

On Windows Vista,
Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 |

Go to Control Panel > System and
Maintenance > System.

Look at the
System type under
system.

If the
System type is 32-bit Operating
System then your Operating System is 32-bit and you need to
download 32-bit Quick Heal product setup file. If the System type is
64-bit Operating System then your Operating System is
64-bit and you need to download 64-bit Quick Heal product setup
file.

On Windows Server 2008 R2 |
|
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Operating System is available
in 64-bit only. |
