If you purchase a renewal code with validity for 1 Year or 3 Years and renew your copy of Quick Heal before subscription expiry, then you will get subscription validity of 1 Year + 2 Months or 3 Years + 2 Months from the date of subscription expiry. If you renew your copy of Quick Heal after subscription expiry then you will get 1 Year or 3 Year validity from the date of renewal.

Mr. John has a copy of Quick Heal AntiVirus Plus that expires on August 10, 2010. He purchases a renewal code on July 10, 2010 and renews his copy of Quick Heal AntiVirus Plus on that day. His new subscription validity is October 10, 2011 (1 Year + 2 Months).

Example 2
Mr. Jack has a copy of Quick Heal AntiVirus Plus that expires on August 10, 2010. He purchases a renewal code on September 10, 2010 and renews his copy of Quick Heal AntiVirus Plus on that day. His new subscription validity is September 10, 2011 (1 Year).

After purchasing the renewal code from the distributor, you need to renew the copy of Quick Heal by performing the following steps:

1. Click Start -> Programs -> Quick Heal AntiVirus -> Quick Heal AntiVirus to open Quick Heal AntiVirus.
2. Click About on the left side of the main window.
3. Click the Renew Now button.
4. The wizard for Renewal opens. Click Next to continue.
5. Select Yes, I have Internet Connection and click Next.
6. Select Renew Subscription and and enter the Product Key (Serial Number), Activation Number and the Renewal Code purchased. Click Next to continue.
7. You will receive a message that your copy has been successfully renewed.

After renewing your copy of Quick Heal from the Quick Heal website, please perform the following steps to complete the renewal process (ensure that your system is connected to the Internet until the completion of the steps):

2. Click About on the left side of the main window.
3. Click the License Details button.
4. Click Update License Details.
5. A prompt appears. Click Continue. This will extend the subscription of your copy of Quick Heal.
